Chefs Calum Franklin, Hervé Deville and Paul Shearing have launched House of Pies, a wholesale pie business for stadiums, restaurants and corporate hospitality, The Caterer reports.

Who they are: Franklin is the former executive head chef at Holborn Dining Room at Rosewood London and opened The Pie Room there in 2018. Deville was executive chef at three-Michelin-starred Sketch. Shearing was senior sous chef at two-Michelin-starred Bibendum and later worked with Franklin at the Guinness Open Gate Brewery pie restaurant that opened in December 2025.

The offer: signature pies range from pork birria with queso sauce to dauphinoise potato, caramelised onion and comté. Franklin said on Instagram that the business is built around craftsmanship, ingredients and tradition, and that it develops pies for stadiums, event teams, hospitality and brands.

The timing: the launch comes about a year after Franklin partnered with Pip Lacey and Company of Cooks on the Guinness Open Gate Brewery pie restaurant.

For your venue: if you buy in pies for events or match days, this is another chef-led wholesale option to sample against your current supplier. Ask for specs, pack sizes and reheating instructions before you rewrite a party menu.
