Rudy's brings its Neapolitan pizza to Monton on 8 November
The 41st Rudy's opens at noon on Sunday, in a former furniture shop.

Rudy's has set the opening date for its first Salford pizzeria, Manchester Evening News reports. The 41st Rudy's opens on Monton Road at noon on Sunday 8 November.
The site: the former Bennetts Furnishers store, empty since 2022. It seats 120 and the company says it is creating up to 30 jobs.
The story so far: Rudy's began 11 years ago in Ancoats. It now has sites on Peter Street and Portland Street in the city centre, and in Prestwich, Chorlton and Didsbury.
What to order: Neapolitan pizza, plus rotating limited-edition specials. A recent one was The Peppe, with fior di latte, lemon ricotta, bresaola and confit tomatoes. There are Morello cherry and Mandarino spritzers, homemade lemonade, tiramisu and a panna cotta cheesecake.
The good cause: the opening supports Salford Foundation. A pre-opening event, now sold out, will give all proceeds to the charity, and guests can donate once it is open.
It joins Eden Italian, Wonder & Wild, Pantasia, Leo's and the Blind Pig on the Monton strip.
