Dave's Hot Chicken is opening a second North East site at Metrocentre
Nashville-style tenders and sliders, with a heat scale that ends in a waiver.

Dave's Hot Chicken will open its second Newcastle area restaurant at Metrocentre in Gateshead this month, Restaurant Online reports. It will be in The Qube.
The food: chicken tenders and sliders, with mac and cheese, kale slaw and loaded fries. The newly launched saucy bites are on the menu too. Milkshakes and slushers come alongside.
The heat: seven levels, from Not Hot up to Reaper. Reaper means signing a waiver before you order.
Why here: the brand says the North East has taken to it since its first Newcastle opening. Metrocentre's asset director says food and drink help people stay longer at the centre.
The wider picture: it is run in the UK with Azzurri Group. The new site follows its second Manchester restaurant, which opened earlier this month at the Trafford Centre.
An opening date has not been announced yet, so keep an eye on the brand's channels if you want to be there on day one.
