The North East's best Sunday dinner comes with gravy that takes a week
Porky's in Bebside topped more than 11,000 votes. Its roasts come in an aluminium tray, or inside a giant Yorkshire pudding if you ask.

Porky's, a smokehouse in Bebside near Blyth, has been named the best place for Sunday dinner in the North East by ChronicleLive readers. Owner Josh Giacomini has now told the paper what goes into it.
The vote Porky's took 3,661 votes, a 33% share of more than 11,000 cast in the final round. The Lambton Worm in Chester-le-Street came second and The Turbinia in Walker was third.
What's on the plate - The gravy is on the go for a week before service - Roasts are served in an aluminium tray - Or you can have your whole dinner served in a giant Yorkshire pudding
Book ahead Giacomini says bookings have gone through the roof since the win, with lots of new faces coming through the door. He also runs Davanti Classico in Tynemouth, another popular Sunday dinner spot. If Porky's is full, the runners-up in Chester-le-Street and Walker are a good start.
