Fire Downstairs, Vinyl Upstairs - Prince Arthur lands in Chelsea
The Belgravia favourite opens a bigger Chelsea sibling on 6 October, with Basque live-fire cooking and a Tokyo-style music bar.

Belgravia's beloved Prince Arthur is getting a big sibling. Prince Arthur Chelsea opens on 6 October, London Now reports, over two floors on a prominent Chelsea corner.
Downstairs is a 79-cover restaurant flooded with light from floor-to-ceiling arched windows. Head chef Adam Iglesias, who earned the Belgravia kitchen two years of Michelin Guide recognition, is back in charge. The food sticks to seasonal, ingredient-led Basque cooking, with live fire and serious seafood. The team says it wants Chelsea to be a more grown-up, produce-first restaurant than the original pub-restaurant.
Upstairs is where it gets fun. The Chelsea Music Bar takes its cue from Tokyo's listening bars, with a vinyl-led music programme, live performances and a high-end cocktail list for the late crowd.
So what? Listening bars are having a moment in London, and this is the second new one in Chelsea this month alone. Book dinner downstairs, then head upstairs and pretend you know a lot about Japanese jazz pressings. For hospo folk, a two-floor, late-night opening means floor, bar and kitchen jobs. Worth a look if you like your shifts with a decent soundtrack.
