Bottomless season is officially open. Pub restaurant brand Farmhouse Inns has revived its unlimited carvery deal, the Ipswich Star reports, and it's £9.99 with a soft or hot drink included.

It runs at pubs across England from Monday 5 October to Friday 16 October, Monday to Friday between 3pm and 8pm. Go back as many times as you like for 14-hour slow-roasted meats, roast potatoes, Yorkshire puddings, seasonal veg and gravy. You can book or just walk in, and the deal comes off automatically when you order at the bar or on the Farmhouse Inns app.

There's a half-term deal too. From 19 to 30 October, Monday to Friday, two kids eat free for every adult buying a breakfast, main or carvery, and each child gets a scoop of ice cream. Greene King's brand and marketing director Andrew Gallager, who's fronting the offer, reckons one trip to the carvery sometimes just isn't enough. We respect the honesty.

So what for hospo people? For the carvery crew, these two weeks mean endless trays and a queue of people coming back for round three. Value deals like this are everywhere right now because customers are counting every quid. And if you're skint before payday, well, you didn't hear it from us.
