Manchester's Forbici opens its first London pizzeria on Tooley Street
The Neapolitan pizza spot, which has been named among the world's best pizzerias, is due to open near London Bridge on 27 October.

A Manchester pizza favourite is heading south. Forbici is due to open at 120 Tooley Street, a few minutes' walk from London Bridge station, on Tuesday 27 October, Hot Dinners reports.
Forbici has been voted one of the world's best pizzerias, and it's bringing its Neapolitan pizzas to London for the first time. It's one of a few openings in the capital that day:
- Lenny's, 24 Henrietta Street, Covent Garden: founder Max Lewis made his name with New Haven-style pizza at a Finsbury Park residency, and this is his first permanent pizzeria.
- The Talli Queen, Uxbridge Road, Shepherd's Bush: the old Queen Adelaide pub, taken over by chef Avi Shashidhara and inspired by traditional Indian drinking houses.
Good to know: opening dates can slip, so check Forbici's own channels before you make the trip. Manchester fans have bragging rights for now: you had it first.
