NQ JPN brings Japanese arcade machines and 3am cocktails to Soho

The NQ64 team's new spin-off is darker and more grown-up, with a hidden arcade behind a red curtain.

The people behind NQ64 have opened NQ JPN in Soho, Restaurant Online reports. It's a cocktail bar and club with its own arcade of machines brought over from Japan, styled like a futuristic Tokyo in black, red and chrome with street art and saturated lighting.

What to drink Twelve signature cocktails use dragon fruit, matcha and cherry blossom: think a melon and cucumber daiquiri, a frozen dragon fruit colada and a chilli pepper margarita. There are alcoholic bubble teas, Japanese highballs and alcohol-free options too.

Good to know - Behind a red curtain is the arcade, with its own soundtrack and games including maimai, jubeat and Dancerush - NQ Mart, a convenience-store style counter, lets you build your own drink from more than 2,000 combinations - Open until 3am Monday to Saturday, with DJs on Fridays and Saturdays
