Bar Dos brings Stray's cocktail crew to Ancoats

Errant Group, the team behind Stray, has opened Bar Dos on Great Ancoats Street, The Spirits Business reports. The group calls it 'the tearaway younger sibling of Stray'.

What's on - 70 covers, with cocktails, wine and beer. - A two-part cocktail menu: 'Uno' for twists on the classics, 'Dos' for originals. - Garnishes and techniques chosen to cut waste, and tough glassware rather than delicate stems.

The music: regular DJs plus artist-curated playlists, starting with Private Joy, Space Afrika, Chunky and Konny Kon of Children of Zeus.

The room: furniture from local makers, art by Marcus Hojgaard and Nick Dahlen, and lighting from LS Gomma and Six Dots.
