Bob & Berts lifts profits after pausing new openings
The coffee group reports £2.76m trading EBITDA after investing in the operation it already had.

Bob & Berts' unaudited results for the year to June 2026 show revenue of £24.3m, up 8.3%, Restaurant Online reports. Trading EBITDA rose almost 73% to £2.76m, while pre-tax profit reached £1.32m.
The business operates across Northern Ireland, Scotland and England. It also points to menu development and its loyalty programme as parts of the improvement.
Investment before expansion The group paused openings in the preceding financial year to improve existing shops. It invested in digital ordering, operating systems and its customer offer, and now plans further UK growth.
What it means for operators: we see a useful capital-allocation question here: what could the existing estate earn before you commit to more leases? The improved results support that discussion, but do not isolate the return from each investment.
