Bat & Ball City opens at Tower Hill on 25 November, adding an 8,500 sq ft sports-and-entertainment pub to Stratford and Covent Garden.

Urban Pubs & Bars is investing £1m to open Bat & Ball City at Tower Hill on Wednesday 25 November, The Morning Advertiser and Hospitality & Catering News report. It will be the brand's third London site, after Stratford and Covent Garden, and the first to show a refreshed, more premium look that mixes live sport, food, drink and entertainment.
The site - 8,500 sq ft in a neo-Gothic Tower Hill building - Previously a craft brewpub that opened in May 2018 - Aimed at after-work drinks, smaller gatherings, corporate events and Christmas parties in one of London's busiest commercial districts
Urban Pubs & Bars runs close to 70 sites in London and describes itself as the capital's largest independent pub group. CEO Chris Hill called Tower Hill another flagship and a chance to bring the brand's experience-led offer into the heart of the City.
