Giuliano brings its Handforth Italian to Bramhall on 19 October

The twice-named Best Restaurant in Cheshire takes over the old Trunk Lounge on Bramhall Lane South for its first Greater Manchester site.

Giuliano, the Sicilian-inspired Italian in Handforth that has twice been named Best Restaurant in Cheshire and once Best Restaurant in England at the England Business Awards, is opening a second site in Bramhall, the Manchester Evening News reports.

The details - It takes over the former Trunk Lounge on Bramhall Lane South - Opening date: Monday 19 October, after a full fit-out - Expect stonebaked pizzas, pasta, risotto, fish and meat dishes in the same vein as Handforth, including Pollo Milanese and chargrilled veal

Owner Lulzim Culaj took over the original restaurant seven years after it opened in 2012 and has built it into an awards regular. The Bramhall team says it wants familiar faces and new guests through the door.
