Bamboo Mat brings its Japanese-Peruvian cooking to Canary Wharf
The Stratford favourite has opened a two-floor restaurant in E14 with a raw bar, a charcoal grill and tasting menus from £38.

Bamboo Mat, the Stratford restaurant Grace Dent once praised for its "plates of Peruvian joy", has opened its second site in Canary Wharf, London TV reports.
It's Nikkei cooking, the mix of Japanese technique and Peruvian flavour, from chef-owners Denis Gobjila and Victor Rosca.
The space Two floors, 92 seats. Downstairs is a raw bar and cocktail lounge, upstairs more tables and an open kitchen. Look out for the bar stools carved with different faces.
