Full Circle at Fenwick is hiring before it opens this month

The Ouseburn brewery's first pub opens in Fenwick in October, with Peckin' Order on the food, and it's recruiting kitchen and floor roles now.

New place, new jobs. Full Circle Brew Co, the brewery with a taproom at Hoults Yard in Ouseburn, is opening its first pub on the first floor of Fenwick in Newcastle this October, in the space that used to be the Golden Flake Tavern. The opening date is still to be confirmed.

There'll be 12 taps and 2 cask lines of Full Circle beers, guest beers and tap takeovers, with fried chicken and smash burgers from Peckin' Order, the Newcastle street food favourite.

The roles listed on Full Circle's own site

  • Kitchen Manager (full-time, two-year fixed term, from October): £29,000 to £31,000 plus tips, 40 hours a week
  • Chef de Partie, the cook in charge of one section of the kitchen
  • Commis Chef / Kitchen Assistant, the starting rung in a kitchen
  • Supervisor

One detail stands out: the kitchen runs to Fenwick's store hours, with later finishes only from Thursday to Saturday. That's earlier than a lot of city-centre kitchens.

On your next shift: if you want a step up, a new opening is one of the easiest places to get it, because the whole team starts on day one together. Read the full job specs on Full Circle's site and apply before the doors open.
